  • "How long did it take for you to grow out your gray hair?!"

    This is the one that I get asked a lot! (besides “How tall are you?” - LOL)

    Well, when the pandemic hit my sister’s and I made a packed to let our gray hair grow out. I was a (bottle) red-head for years. I guess at some point I should do a blog post to show photos of the process. Adding the purple (lavender) was a game changer! It felt like it took FOREVER, but now I am SO HAPPY I did it!

  • “Both of your kids have type-one diabetes?"

    YES!

    So, in 2013 my daughter, Phair, was diagnosed with Type-One Diabetes. Then, in 2016 my son, Owen, was diagnosed (he is also autistic, so that was a double whammy).

    Honestly we’re good! It’s part of our everyday routine. We don’t let it run our lives.

    The good news? I always have juice boxes and fruit snack! I’ve saved several brides/grooms/wedding guests with my secret stash of blood sugar boosters!

  • “Are you for hire as a 2nd/3rd shooter for other photographers?”

    HECK YEAH - I LOVE WEDDINGS!

    I love being a part of each special day! If you are the “Wedding Photographer in Charge” I have no problem being your wing-man. You can hire me to capture those moments that are happening while you’re taking the “Main” bulk of the photos.

Have you ever had something in your life that you just love and know it’s what you were meant to be doing?  That is photography for me! For almost 15 years I was a freelance photographer for The New Milford Spectrum (with ties to Danbury NewsTimes and Hearst Media Group) and I loved it! It was a great way to get to know my community and the people it. Now, I get to go out into the world and photograph people, places, and events with my journalistic eye to capture your memorable moments.
